On October 11, 1492, Christopher Columbus reported in one of his logs that the the waters where very calm, almost to calm, as they went deeper into the Bermuda Triangle. As they went on the crew spotted a strange light which they described as a flaming fire ball in the sky. This was the first report of strange things in the Bermuda Triangle.
On December 4, 1872, The Mary Celeste was a ship that has been known for being discovered in the Atlantic Ocean with having its crew abandoned. Only one life boat was missing along with its seven crew members. There have been many theories like underwater earthquakes and UFO's making the crew members abandon ship. But no one will ever know what has happened to the crew members.
On Mach 4, 1918, the U.S.S. Cyclops took sail to take fuel to the american troops during World War One. It left on March 4th with 300 people on board and was scheduled to get there on March 12. the ship never showed up to its destination and was never seen again.
On January 31, 1921, The Carroll A. Deering ship was a five mastered schooner. The Deering was spotted after the sun went down on January 31st, 1921 by Coast Guards in shallow water. When the Coast Guard searched the ship they found it empty without a crew of 11. The only sign of life where two cats on board. This is just one case of a ghost ship washing up in on the shallow waters of the Bermuda Triangle.
On December 22, 1967, the Witchcraft ,a ship owned by a wealthy man who owned a hotel chain in Miami went out to see the Christmas lights on the coast. At 9 p.m. the Coast Guard got a call from the boat saying that they hit something and would need a tow. they said they would shoot a flare up in the air to show their spot. When the Coast Guard got to their location no flare was shot and they were never seen again.
On December 15, 2008, a British-Norman Islander took of from Santiago. only 35 minutes after the takeoff the plane vanished and was never seen again.
